Director Pamela Turner has a master's degree in Early Childhood Education from New York University, with an emphasis on Emergent Writing. She has a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University, where she majored in English. Pamela has twelve years of experience teaching elementary and early childhood education at Greenwich Academy and Marymount School of New York, nine of which she was a Pre-K Head Teacher. During her teaching career, Pamela championed the Project Approach and Reggio Emilia methods of teaching and served as a mentor and leader to many colleagues. Pamela came to New Canaan Community Nursery School as director in the spring of 2009.
