Meet the staff

Pamela Turner, Director of Education
Pamela has a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Eduction from New York University. She has a BA from St. Lawrence University where she majored in English. Pamela has been teaching elementary and early childhood education for twelve years. This is her first year at New Canaan Community Nursery School.

Giselle Coven, Head Teacher & Assistant Director & Summer Programs Coordinator
Giselle has an Associate's Degree from Norwalk Community College in Early Childhood Education. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and Family Development from University of Connecticut in Stamford. Giselle has been teaching at New Canaan Community Nursery School for 8 years.

Mary Britto, Head Teacher
Mary graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science. She also has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood from Teikyo Post University. Mary has been teaching at New Canaan Community Nursery School for 14 years.

Colleen Ehring, Head Teacher
Colleen is certified in Connecticut to teach elementary (K-6). She completed her Master’s Degree in Education at Sacred Heart University. Colleen worked in the Norwalk and New Canaan school systems for two years. This is her third year at New Canaan Community Nursery School

Erica Morabito, Teacher
Erica has received a Child Associate Credential. She is attending Western Connecticut State University and is working on completing her Bachelor’s Degree in History. She has been working in the Early Childhood field for six years. This is her third year at NCCNS.

Maritza Cano, Teacher
Maritza has completed her Associate's Degree from Norwalk Community College in Early Childhood Education. She is a current student at the University of Connecticut in Stamford, pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services and Family Development. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for six years. This is her third year at NCCNS

Fran Biasetti, Teacher
Fran received her Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Relations with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and Development from the University of Connecticut. After college, she taught in Westport and had the opportunity to work one-on-one with special needs children. Fran has been with New Canaan Community Nursery School for 8 years.

Sally Farrell, Teacher
Sally graduated from Sweet Briar College with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Elementary Education. She is a Master's Degree candidate at Fairfield University in Elementary Education and is pursuing a second Master's Degree in Christian Education from Virginia Theological Seminary. Sally has been a preschool teacher for 16 years at both Greenwich Academy and Bedford Village Nursery School. This is Sally's first year at NCCNS
